Meet the founder of The Intelligence Co., Kasey Nelson.

Kasey has spent over a decade in the legal industry, primarily focused on litigation. Despite her diverse legal background, her passion has always been rooted in defense work — particularly criminal defense and insurance defense. Seeking to expand beyond the confines of an office, she became a licensed professional investigator in 2021 and started her own investigation and litigation support company.

Over the years, Kasey's dedication to her career drove her to further her education. She completed her certificate in paralegal studies and earned a bachelor's degree in justice studies from the University of Maine (Augusta). Her passion and academic achievements gained her admission to the University of Maine School of Law, where she is expected to graduate with a Juris Doctor in 2028. Her ultimate goal is to establish her own law practice specializing in defense work, including criminal/oui defense, insurance defense, and PFA defense.

In the meantime, Kasey remains committed to her career in truth-seeking and assisting those most impacted by procedural and systemic barriers within our court system.
